The project aimed to upgrade the services provided by public and mobile libraries as well as to improve the processing of their information/content via new tools. Among the main activities were: the utilisation of the ABEKT system for enhancing the automatic operation of libraries, the organisation of educational seminars for libraries’ personnel, the development and provision of tools for prototyping the process of libraries’ material, the determination of standards for the buildings and infrastructures of libraries and their mobile units.
