The National Documentation Centre, operating as the Greek National Contact Point for the "Citizens and Governance in a Knowledge-based Society" programme, is organizing, in collaboration with the General Secretariat for Research and Technology, a series of information events. The events are supported by the European Commission.

The first event will take place on 4 February 2005, in Athens. The second event, which is co-organised by the Research Committee of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, will take place on 9 February 2005, in Thessaloniki

The events aim to provide representatives of the academic and research community as well as of those the public and private sector with updated information regarding the "Citizens and Governance in a Knowledge-based Society" programme of FP6.
