The National Documentation Centre has the pleasure of inviting you to
the National Information Day on "Human
Resources and Mobility - Marie Curie Actions" of the 6th Framework
Programme. The event is organised by the
National Documentation Centre in collaboration with
the General Secretariat of Research and Technology. The event is
supported by the DG "Research" of the European Commission.
The Information Day will take place on Friday 13 February 2004, in
Athens (National Hellenic Research Foundation, 48, Vas. Constantinou Avenue). The event
aims to inform Greek bodies engaged in research activities
(universities, research centres, enterprises, public and private bodies), as
well as individual researchers on the opportunities offered through the 6th Framework Programme and,
specifically under "Human Resources and Mobility"
and the Marie Curie Actions (fellowships and grants).
The above actions intend to reinforce the European Research Area by
supporting both the development of researchers' careers and the transfer of
scientific knowledge, not only among the EU Member States, but also
globally.
During the event, the open calls of the Programme will be presented by the
EC official Dr T. Papazoglou, along with the guidelines for the submission
of successful proposals to improve the national participation in the various
actions. The EC representative and the National Delegate of the Programme
will also answer questions and address specific pertinent issues, which will
be brought up by the audience during the Discussion Session.
