The National Documentation Centre, operating as the Greek National Contact
Point for the IST (Thematic Priority 2) has the pleasure of inviting you to
the International event on Information Society Technologies, which will be
held on Monday, 2 June 2002, in Athens.The event will be organised by the
National Documentation Centre in collaboration with the Greek General
Secretariat of Research and Technology. The DG Information Society
Technologies and the Ideal-ist Network will support the whole event. The
first session will be dedicated to a presentation of the forthcoming 2nd
Call for proposals under IST and will be followed by parallel sessions
focused on specific strategic objectives of IST.
Sessions will address the issues of Networking, partner searches and
writing proposals, it will also include the presentations of project ideas,
and bilateral meetings between potential proposers. This all take place
within the framework of the Ideal-ist Network activities.
Representatives of the Ideal-ist nodes across Europe will support the
above specific sessions in order to help the participants formulate concrete
consortia for proposal submission within the framework of IST (Please, refer
to the attached draft Agenda).
The whole event will be held in the Auditorium of the National Hellenic
Research Foundation (48, Vas. Constantinou Avenue,116 35 Athens- GR).
