The project supports the coordination of the European
Network of National Contact Points for the programme
“Regions of Knowledge” of FP7, as well as the improvement of
the services provided for the regional growth based on
science and technology. The Network is addressed at research
organizations, enterprises and regional authorities that are
interested to develop or improve existing research driven
clusters. Regions are encouraged to invest in research as
precondition for economic and social growth.
11 partners from member states and associated countries
participate in the project. Its activities cover all 36 NCPs.
EKT is WP Leader for the dissemination activities of the
project.
