The project aims to enhance the cooperation of academic and research libraries in Kyrgyzstan, through a Network that already connects Kyrgyz National Technical University (Bishkek), Issyk-Kul State University (Karakol) and Jalal-Abad State University (Jalal-Abad). The Network is possible to expand to other institutions of higher education.

The project covers the following topics: promotion of electronic information in Higher Education Institutions, development of electronic documentation (integrated information system, digitization, subscriptions’ administration, enrichment of free source through the Web), document delivery network for joint use of sources, improvement of vocational training of librarians in the field of new methoda, instruments and document management.
