The project aimed to improve and enrich the services provided by EKT’s Library to all users. It was implemented in three phases concerning the improvement of the available space, the acquisition and installation of the equipment, the acquisition of know-how and restructuring of the material. The project contributed to the recognition of the Library‘s role in S&T information and the provision of scientific articles through the National Network of S&T Libraries. New information technologies, infrastructures and applications improved EKT’s services, while the Library’s collections were enriched with electronic journals and CR-ROM type databases.
