Description - Objectives |
The ARROW Plus The primary aim of ARROW Plus is to
facilitate libraries and other users in their diligent
search for right-holders in works that are to be included
in a mass digitisation programme of books, through querying
a network of European data sources.
A key objective of Arrow Plus is to extend the number of the
countries covered, delivering a genuinely pan-European
infrastructure, promoting interoperability and closing the
gap in book data quality between European countries.
Arrow Plus will also analyse and pilot the extension of
Arrow services to include visual material. The
implementation and validation of the Arrow business model is
another fundamental objective, in delivering a service that
is sustainable for the long-term. |
