The 5th Panhellenic Competition of Constructions and Experiments in Physical Sciences is organised by the Greek Coordinating Committee of the European programme "Science on Stage 2" and the Science Laboratory Centre of Egaleo. Student projects and/or projects by secondary education teachers will be presented at the competition, which will take place on 10-11 November 2006 in Athens (National Technical University of Athens).

Projects, whether realised individually or in groups, may be: constructions, experiments, innovative educational material in printed or electronic format (video, CD-ROM, software), theatrical performances. Students and teachers from all of the country’s secondary education schools, and secondary education teachers transferred in agencies supervised by the Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs, are eligible to participate. The participant responsible for individual projects, as well as the team’s representative for group projects, must be a secondary education teacher.

A committee of members from the Greek Coordinating Committee of the programme will select the seven best projects. These seven prize-winning projects will take part in the Greek kiosk and compete in the Pan-European main event of the programme Science on Stage 2 (2-6 April 2007, Grenoble, France).
