Working visits between European and Russian scientists are being financed within the framework of the European project RUSERA EXE in which the Hellenic National Documentation Centre (EKT) is participating. Greek scientists interested to participate can either visit a research organisation in Russia or host Russian scientists at their premises in Greece. They are invited to submit their proposals by 31 October 2007.
Working visits will last 10 days and will be scheduled from January to April 2008. The maximum level of financing per visit is EUR 2,500. During these visits researchers are expected to work together on scientific publications, presentations at international conferences, to prepare and submit proposals to European programmes, etc.
The aim of the RURERA EXE project is to foster scientific cooperation between the EU and Russia and to integrate Russian scientists into the European Research Area. The working visits are expected to contribute to long-lasting partnerships to exchange knowledge and experience in all fields of science.
Application forms, which are already available along with the relevant instructions on the project website, should be submitted to the project consortium. They will be evaluated based on the objectives and potential impact of the visit, the proposed actions, organisation, expected results and possible follow up/follow on actions.
