Small and medium enterprises and research organisations can search for partners to jointly submit proposals and implement projects within the framework of the Information Communication Technologies programme of the 7th Framework Programme for Research of the European Commission, by using the online partnership database of the European project "EASIER (Engaging regional SMEs within the ICT sector in EU research)" in which the National Documentation Centre is participating.

The project is co-funded by the 6th Framework Programme ("Research and Innovation" programme) and aims at boosting the competitiveness of the European SME and research organisations, through their participation in Information and Telecommunications projects, the utilization of regional networks and the forming of new trans-national partnerships. Participating in the project are 16 organisations from 12 countries (Turkey, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Czech Republic, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, United Kingdom and Norway).

The database contains potential partners from 12 countries, such as enterprises and organisations that are active in the specific field. Interested parties can search for partners, and also submit electronically their profile (organisation profile, fields of interest) so that they can be entered into the database.
