Entrepreneurs and business-oriented researchers, with ambitious and dynamic business plans in the technology sector, are invited to participate in the 5th International Venture Capital Forum, taking place on 16-17 June 2004, in Athens.

The Forum is organised by the Hellenic Centre for Investment, the New Economy Development Fund and the Innovation Relay Centre HELP-FORWARD, with the cooperation of the Hellenic Venture Capital Association and under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Economy and Finance.

The Forum will be attended by policy makers, entrepreneurs, academics and researchers from Cyprus, Turkey, Israel, Bulgaria, Rumania, Serbia-Montenegro and FYROM. The participants will have the opportunity to exchange views and ideas, as well as to realise closed business meetings in order to present their business ideas, discuss venture opportunities and raise private funding for business plans. Moreover, for the first time, the "Best Business Plan Prize" will be awarded to the three most distinguished business plans.

The 5th International Venture Capital Forum is open to companies with business plans that have high growth rate potential, irrespective of their age. Venture capital firms, new entrepreneurs and researchers that are interested to participate in the Forum are requested to submit their applications by 14 May 2004 at the latest.
